Patented Technology

NDEX is protected under US Patent 9,915,501.

NDEX is not a refinement of the traditional sight. It is a different system, built around how people actually see and react under stress. That difference is protected.

The design removes the front sight post entirely. Instead of forcing the eye to stack three points and shift focus away from the threat, NDEX keeps focus where it belongs: forward, on the target. Less to process. Faster to act. Fewer steps between decision and result.

This is the core of what the patent protects.

What the patent covers
US Patent 9,915,501 covers the NDEX sighting method and geometry: the removal of the conventional front post and the reference system that replaces it. The claim is not cosmetic. It protects the functional principle that makes NDEX work, and the way that principle is applied to a handgun sight.

Why it matters
Most sight systems were designed for controlled conditions. They work on a static range, with time, with a clear mind. Real situations rarely offer any of those.

NDEX was built for the moment that matters, when time is short and focus cannot be split. The patent reflects that we did not adjust an existing idea. We started from a different one.

Legal notice
NDEX and the NDEX sighting system are the intellectual property of Saberdyne Systems LLC, protected under US Patent 9,915,501 and any additional patents pending. Unauthorised reproduction, manufacture, or distribution of the patented design is prohibited and will be enforced.
